Food<\/strong>\u00a0For\u00a0Families<\/strong>\u00a0is a great way to get together to make a tangible difference to the lives of individuals and\u00a0families<\/strong>\u00a0experiencing hardship and crisis throughout the year. The\u00a0food<\/strong>, gifts and household essentials are distributed at our emergency relief,\u00a0family<\/strong> services and outreach centres across Uganda and Africa. in general, Everyday we dig deeper to provide support when people need it most. We want to support everyone who comes to us for help \u2013 but we can\u2019t do it alone. We know the need is there \u2013 in fact data from our services shows that demand for food relief is growing with an increase in presentation of between 43%-61% in the past year.<\/p>

Over 700 families will reach out to us this year<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The program brings local communities together to donate non-perishable food and household essential items through collections at schools, workplaces and Uniting drop-off points. Food For Families is a great way to get together to make a tangible difference to the lives of individuals and families experiencing hardship and crisis throughout the year.<\/p>

The food, gifts and household essentials are distributed at our emergency relief, family services and outreach centres across Uganda and Africa Families can select food from our food pantry when times get tough and bills stack up. We also provide food that\u2019s easy to prepare to people experiencing homelessness, either sleeping rough or living in their car.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Participating in Food For Families means we can support the growing number of people reaching out to us for help each year.<\/h4>
